How to find out the aspect ratio of my monitor?

To find out the aspect ratio of your monitor, follow these simple steps:

Method 1: Check Monitor Settings or Manual

  • Look at the manual or box your monitor came in.

  • Most monitors clearly list the aspect ratio, such as 16:9, 21:9, or 4:3.

  1. For 2560 ÷ 1080 = 2.37, which is 21:9

Steps on macOS:

  1. Go to System Preferences > Displays.
